Application is easy – start by using alcohol to cleanse the brows of any oils. Then simply use the brush to apply the tint to the eyebrow. I also used a ?mascara? type wand to brush it onto the hair. Use a cotton swab to clean up any stray tint to avoid staining beyond the brow. I have medium to dark brown hair and found that 3.5-4 minutes with the ?medium brown? shade was sufficient for processing. The tint appeared lighter when mixed but did stain the hair darker as expected. Wipe off with a clean cotton swab or similar and/or use a gentle cleanser.
